i just started readin L.J. Smith books in the last few months and found out that she wrote in the 90's and just started writing again, so a lot of the fan groups for her are outdated, any other L.J. smith fans out there? i really njoyed her new book on damon called nighfall did anyone else read it yet?

I'm currently in the middle of nightfall. I <3 LJ Smith. The Secret Circle, Night World, The Vampire Diaries = awesome. I could read her books over and over again.

Me too! I'm still struggling to find all of her books, i'm sooo glad they are reprinting a lot of them the older 90's ones are really hard to find. i'm realy excited about the new TVD:Return seris cuz Damon was my favorite guy in the first 4, it was a little hard to swallow just how bad he was but then I reminded myself he was pretty much possessed from the first page in chapter one with the "moskito bite" on his neck, plus L.J's site said the first book will be the darkest so I can't wait for shadow souls to come out!

I think the 3rd Night World re-release is supposed to come out on April 17th. Can't wait! (:

I finished The first two Vampire Diaries books a whie ago and now I'm reading the second Nightworld book and I love it! I can not put this book down and it is killing me just typing this because the book is right next to me!:)

I just finished the new TVD Return book. And I honestly don't know what to say. The ending was so confusing, I'm not sure I even understand what happened. :/

Hey, Demonic, I've heard a lot of the samething and had to re-read several parts myself. I still really enjoyed the book, but felt like there was a lot the editors could have done to make it more underrstandible. easier to read i suppose, but i read some parts twice to really let it sink in. from my understanding Damon, Elena and our gang pretty much win the battle lose the war, ya know? stefan's still gone and they have to get him back but Damon isno longer possessed and they did some pretty serious A** kicking to the kitsunes. I'm also thinking Damon had his memory erased but was left with a picture to help in the hunt for stefan and elena is left with the first clue. so thats what i took from it. I read on LJS's site that the next two are going to be waaay better and i'm thinkin they will also clear up the fuzzy spots for us all. if you get a chance to look over her site at ljanesmith.net you should totally read the two new short stories, one is about matt and elena's first date and the other is about bonnie and Damon's first meeting! (they are both sooo super sweet!)

I just got the 3rd Night World today! (: It's not even supposed to be out for a few weeks, I'm not sure if they just moved the release date or if Coles screwed up, but I got it! *happily dances*

I am right there with you BlackRose i am flat out desperate to find out what the gang will do to get stefan back!!!!! and now that damon is himself againo0o0o0o i can't wait to see more of him without the possession! I am soooooo excited!!!!!!!!!! its driving me nuts, i wish it was out nowwwww!!!!!!!!! I love the night world books too, i guess i have time tho, cuz i gotta save up for a few books before i can buy, but i'm right there with ya, i can't waaaaaiiiitttttttttt!

I think your going to love the next two Aradia, I myself am still waiting to get the 3rd and then of course Strange Fate, but I loved the 2nd book with dark Angel, Soulmate, and the Chosen. Dark Angel was kind of like spellbinder, different but with it's own special qualities, and like Spellbinder it really comes in handy to know the Harmon family history. Let us know what you think when you finish reading it aradia!

My book store got an early copy of Nightworld 3. I thought it wasn't coming out till april 7th. It was such a fluke that I saw it and bought it cause I was looking for a different book and when I turned my head BOOM there it was, I was SOOO excited. I just started reading L.J. Smith and I absolutely adore her. I finished Nightworld 3 last night, and now I can't wait till Strange Fate. I was just on her website looking at her links when she had this link saying to visit simon and schuster and pester them about Strange Fate or else is won't get published!!!! I immediately click on this site and want to urge the rest of you raise your voices for Strange Fate, we need the ending!!!!

I seem to be finding every where that people have the urge to fight and if Simon and Schuster havent got the point yet that we want Strange Fate published then they should start reading are discussions. oh and time for me to freak out CaylaJ you are so lucky that you got night world 3 i am simple sitting here jealously wishing i had it there should be button that you can press and PRESTO! YOU HAVE NIGHT WORLD 3 becouse that would simple be awesome. . . so how is it? man i have to wait until April 7! all i have to say to that is booooooooo .. . there i got it out.

o0o0o when you were on the LJS's site did you get to read the short stories? That Brionwy's Lullabye story is like set in Strange Fate, you should totally check it out. AND in Those who favor fire we get to see Ash and Mary-Lynette together again!!!!!

Strange Fate in my oppinion shouldnt even be questioned if it needs to come out. if its anything like her other books it will BE DROP DEAD AMAZING! So Simon and Schuster do not question L.J Smith's talent! Oh and hey Anna! all ways nice to meet someone with the same point of you as yourself.
